All Things Rose

Buying new facial product wrapped in sleek packaging, is a treat for all. There is something about unwrapping it, for me, holds space, reminding me the importance of self-care. I tend to make the majority of my product with DoTerra oils, to minimize the toxicity I am absorbing, but there are definite moments I simply cannot resist trying new indulgent product while sitting in a salt soak. These three rose products are currently my favourite. If you don’t feel right splurging on yourself, let me share the recipe to mimic the product.

Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Facial Mist DIY : In a 4oz spray bottle mix equal parts water, coconut water and “simmered” rose water. Add a drop of DoTerra Geranium oil if you please. Shake each use.

Fresh Rose Face Mask DIY : In a small bowl mix 1 TBSP aloe vera gel, drops of “simmered” rose water, fresh or dried rose petals, DoTerra rose rolled on fingertips when applying mask.

Rosebud Salve DIY : DoTerra Rose rolled on to lips, smother with coconut oil
