YOGA | 75min

Erica’s style of yoga combines Hatha, Vinyasa, Katonah and Kundalini philosophies, harmonizing the breath with movement alignment. This style of yoga promotes strength, flexibility, postural improvement and relaxation. Erica's philosophy is to practice active physical alignment while reconnecting with your passive, non-physical  innate spaciousness that you are; her verbiage of duality, polarity, dimensions/right angles within architecture and intention setting to evolve spiritually, ensures one is able to tune inward, feel presence and return to self, beyond sense of self. Her intelligence will awaken you to practice within the real practice of reality.

Gentle | 30min

This practice is curated to gently move the body at the same time cultivate full awareness of the breath. Focusing primarily on lengthening and stretching the muscles to invite fluency and ease into the systems. The class will promote softness and relief from whatever your are currently managing physically and emotionally.

focus | 15-25min

This short, focused practice is designed to target specific areas of the body. It is challenging and mirrors benefits similar to that of HIIT: Increasing your metabolic rate and oxygen levels to feel energized for the rest of the day.

Kundalini

Kundalini yoga is a complete technological system using Mantra (sound vibration), Pranayam (breath control), Kriya (physical yogic postures and movements) and Meditation, designed to induce sustained states of wellbeing and joy while amplifying daily life transformation. Kundalini Yoga balances the endocrine system and strengthens the nervous system; a practice ultimately detoxing stored hormonal remnants of stress and past experiences, returning to self beyond sense of self. “Keep up and you will be kept up” Yogi Bhajan.

Restorative

Using the aid of props, restorative yoga can reduce stress and restore health, achieving physical, mental and emotional relaxation. When stress becomes chronic a residue builds within the body that can lead to DIS-EASE in forms of high blood pressure, ulcers, back pain, immune dysfunction, reproductive problems and drepression. The antidote to stress is relaxation. Erica has designed a restorative flows to quiet mental turbulence, enhance a healthy spine, reverse the effects of gravity and heighten the exchange of oxygen and waste products across the cell membrane. Through a restorative yoga practice, one can recieve the benefits of yoga with least effort of muscular contraction.

Yoga Nidra

Translated, Yoga Nidra combines yoga, union of mind, body and consciousness and nidra, sleep. Ultimately, sleep with awareness. While in Savasana, lying down on your back to enable profound ease within physical body, Erica will guide you through the four stages of Yoga Nidra: out of waking consciousness to access vast quietude where the mind is no longer confining perception. Within this state of dreamless sleep, physiologically, cellular renewal and repair is optimal.

Breathwork

Breathwork is a seated practice, intentionally re-shaping the patterning of your breathing in a conscious and systemic way to tonify the respiratory and autonomic nervous systems. In addition, by voluntarily controlling an involuntary process, the exercises as well builds confidence in mastering emotions, improves clarity of thought processes, enhances concentration and memory in addition to improving psychological flexibility.

Meditation

Meditation is the antidote to stress. When we sit and cultivate presence we can arrive back to our neutrality; releasing reactivity, aligning with our inherent love, compassion and patience. Taking the time to return to stillness and let go of learned perceptions and judgements, can alter you right down to the cellular level. Effects of amplifying brain alpha waves improve brain coherence, lower blood pressure, decrease inflammation, boost immunity and enhance the ability to sleep aiding in the bodies capability to regenerate, ultimately harmonizing the physical, mental and emotional bodies. Erica encourages to practice quiet daily. If we can slow down and witness the habitual tendencies, we can learn to respond with clarity, opening ourselves to trust in the universe that everything happens for a reason.
